Week of Words short story winners announced

As part of Week of Words celebrations our fantastic Learning Resources team held a 500 word short story competition which was open to both students and staff.

After a panel of tutors, students and senior management have judged the entries, this week we're delighted to announce the winners. In fact, all 3 winning student entries are studying IT in the Directorate of Business and Commercial Enterprise.

Winning Entry “The Vampire’s Love” was written by Jason Whitworth.

Runners up were “There’s Something About This World” by Alex Rice and “The Case of Serial Murder” by Luke Payne.

Staff Winner was “Umbra Mea” written by Edie Owczarek-Palfreyman.
