The Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties) Regulations 2011 came into force from September 2011. The specific duties require the College to publish relevant information demonstrating its compliance with the Equality Duty. The Ofsted’s Common Inspection Framework also requires the College to monitor and asses its staffing profile. HR produces an annual report known as the ‘Staff Individualised Records (SIR) which is submitted to ‘Frontier Economics’ who publish the annual ‘Further Education Workforce data for England’ report. The report provides a range of labour market intelligence which enables the College to benchmark its equality and diversity data against the national FE Sector.
