Pinelodge Holidays is a family-owned business which operates two 5-star award winning lodge holiday parks in Derbyshire; Landal Darwin Forest near Matlock and Landal Sandybrook near Ashbourne. Sandybrook has 53 lodges, it is a small and peaceful holiday park. The luxury lodges are located in the former grounds of a 19th century manor house with a historic pinetum and bluebell wood which provide a peaceful setting.
We are recruiting Cleaners to join our housekeeping team, reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor at Sandybrook, Ashbourne. This is a part time, permanent, all year-round position and some flexibility on working hours will be necessary to accommodate Monday, Friday and Saturday changeovers. We also have Casual and Seasonal positions to suite the applicant.
Generally, the hours of work are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, however hours may be less due to the nature of our industry and the irregular changes in workload during each season. However, we may be able to be flexible on daily hours of work to fit around school hours and casual seasonal work is also available.
It is important to ensure that high standards of cleanliness and presentation are met at all times and you will be responsible for Cleaning 5-star accommodation on a holiday park to the highest standards to ensure families can enjoy quality time together.
The Parks operate all year round and at Pinelodge Holidays we try to “Delight every guest so they wish to return”. As a member of the housekeeping team, you will be in contact with our guests on a daily basis and must demonstrate a friendly and professional image at all times. A uniform will be provided.
Responsibilities will include:
- Dusting of lodges
- Vacuuming carpets and mopping of floors
- Cleaning kitchens
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Deep cleaning of accommodation
- Reporting maintenance issues
We would like to hear from you if you have had similar previous experience and take a real pride in your work, being clean, neat and tidy. This is a busy role and you must be able to cope with the physical demands of regular cleaning duties in our holiday lodges across the park.
Due to the park’s location, a car user is beneficial for this role.
The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and good communication skills as you will interact with both colleagues and guests. Full training will be provided for this role.
