We’re delighted to be hosting a series of coffee mornings in April and May for SEND learners and their parents/guardians (and any school staff that want to know more) to find out about options and support available for their next steps.
Perhaps they are undecided about what they would like to apply for or just generally anxious about moving to a new setting?
We understand all too well the challenges that some learners face when thinking about the next step of their journey in both independence and potential career. With decades of experience, our SEND team will be on hand (along with a coffee and pastries) to discuss the progression routes on offer here at Chesterfield College.
Parents and learners will have the opportunity to have a tour of the college and all that it has to offer, ask any questions to our experienced staff and put any worries at ease.
We will be holding the Coffee mornings over four days throughout April and May, allowing plenty of opportunities for you and your learners to attend.
They will be taking place on the following mornings from 10am – 12pm.

Each session will be held in our Taste restaurant, our fully licensed restaurant in which our current hospitality learners gain experience of working in a commercial environment, delivering high quality food and service to paying customers.
The restaurant is based on the 1st floor of the east block building, the atmosphere is very relaxing but very much a part of the college, allowing you to gain a true reflection of college life.
