On this exciting new course you will learn about sources of funding, types of business ownership, branding, marketing and the entrepreneurial spirit. You'll have the chance to start up your own business, which will essentially be marked as your coursework.
There will be a mix of boardroom activities which include meeting agendas, producing business plans, presentations and pitching as well as meeting guest speakers who will be able to advise you and share their experiences to help make your business better! At Level 3 you'll learn the importance of enterprise as it has never been more sought after by employers. This programme has been designed to provide you with an ideal opportunity to develop a range of crucial skills that will enhance your entrepreneurial flair and ability to adapt to the commercial workplace. Skills and attributes key to ensuring success, should you choose to become self-employed are also an integral part of the programme. Your ability to work productively as part of a team will be a key component of this course.
Who is this course for?
If you're thinking about setting up your own business, or even working self-employed, then this course could be perfect for you. To study at Level 3 you will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above.

What other experience will I gain?
For 16-18 year olds, if required, you will also work towards the achievement of GCSE Grade C in Maths and English as part of your overall study programme.
