Who is this course for?

The ABC Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art, Design and Media is designed to educate you to make informed decisions in progression to Higher Education in the areas of Art, Design and Media, or into related employment. It provides an in-depth creative platform for you to bridge the gap between Level 3 study and prestigious creative arts university level courses. You will study a range of 2D and 3D disciplines before developing your individual strengths within a chosen discipline to prepare you for higher education. Our tutors will also support you with portfolio building and UCAS applications. Esentially this is the equivalent of a ‘year 0’ at university, designed to develop your skills and portfolio in preparation for art school or university.

Entry qualifications

You must be aged 18 or over and already have a level 3 qualification.

What other experience will I gain?

Alongside a wide range of theoretical and practical creative skills you'll also be shown what career pathways exist within the creative sector and what's needed in order to succeed in your chosen occupation or route of study. English and Maths are an essential part of your studies, and life, too. These subjects develop key employability skills that recruiting employers look for. If you have not achieved GCSE grade C/4 or above in English and Maths you will continue studying these subjects. We will ensure you have the right support to improve your English and Maths to the desired level from today's employers.

Where will this lead?
