Who is this course for?

If you want to become a fitness instructor this course is for you. You will particularly enjoy the course if you have good communication skills and a passion for physical activity.

Entry qualifications

You will need 4 GCSEs at grade D/3 or above with one being in either English language or maths or a relevant Level 1 qualification.

What other experience will I gain?

During your studies you'll have access to real life clients and of course you'll have access to the College's on-site fitness facility. You'll also have the opportunity to gain a Level 2 award in Improving Personal Exercise and Nutrition. Whilst on the course you will also be supported in finding a work placement to gain valuable industry experience.

Where will this lead?

This course can lead to employment in the leisure and fitness industry or progression onto a related Level 3 course such as the Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training.
