Being part of Chesterfield College Sixth Form is so much more than study. We want you to leave us with as many skills as possible to help you with you next step (as well as making your time here fun). That's why you'll also get the opportunity to take part in competitions, activities and visits; a science day at Alton Towers and Twycross Zoo has previously been part of the science course. In addition many of the science students act as student ambassadors and peer mentors – these are Y13 students who pair up with Y12 students to offer help and support.

Where will this lead?

You will be able to progress to university level study or in to employment. Students have left us to pursue the following – Bioscience at University of Plymouth, Radiography and Diagnostic radiography, Motorsport Engineering at University of Derby, Nutrition at Nottingham Trent University, Forensic Biology and Biology at Manchester Met University, Forensics and Medical Science at University of Bradford and Aquatic Zoology at University of Hull.
