Students can choose from a wide variety of vocational (more hands on skills), independency and creative subjects in order to achieve their individual targets and goals:
- They will also be required to take part in some introductory work experience
- English modules
- ICT/computer skills
Who is this course for?
This course is for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities and provides a base for all life skills.
As this is an entry level course no formal qualifications are needed.
What other experience will I gain?
Throughout the year there'll be the chance to take part in extra-curricular activities including putting on a Christmas Carol performance, real life work experience and taking part in a play on the Winding Wheel stage!
Where will this lead?
This course encourages students to improve on their interpersonal skills whilst getting hands on work experience. Many of our students go on to further study, voluntary placements or into the workplace.What are my career options?
