Who is this course for?

This Apprenticeship is available at Advanced level and allows you to study towards a recognised qualification whilst in paid employment. Applicants to this Apprenticeship could be a mix of age and experience. As a guide, applicants may come from a range of routes including: work or work experience training and/or experience which could include a portfolio showing what you have done, Intermediate Apprenticeship, vocational or academic qualification(s).

What other experience will I gain?

Electrical and Electronic Engineering is probably the broadest and most dynamic of the engineering disciplines. This apprenticeship will develop the skills, knowledge and competence you will need to carry out the duties of an Electrical/Electronic Technician in the workplace. This Apprenticeship would be suitable for anyone who is looking to work as an Electrical and Electronic Engineer, Engineering Maintenance Technician, Engineering, Operative, Marine Engineer, Marine Engineering Technician.

Where will this lead?

Upon completion you can continue in your employed role and possibly progress into management roles given further study. You can progress onto University Level study including Higher National Diploma, Degrees or Management qualifications.
