Course overview

A practical introduction to the Makaton Language Programme. Sessions include commonly asked questions, how to effectively sign and use symbols (Stages 1-4 and Additional of the Core Vocabulary) and how to start using Makaton in everyday situations at home or at work.

Who is this course for?

Makaton enables those who have limited/ no speech with a language programme that they can use to communicate with the world around them.Makaton helps us to interact better and build relationships. £140 per participant includes study materials (2 workshop manuals, which include the signs and symbols that you have learned and a certificate). Entry qualifications

Participants must have an interest in early communication skills.
