Course Overview

Life Skills and Progression: This programme further enhances the skills needed to progress in education or the work place, to live independently and access the community.

Course Content

Students will work towards individualised targets to support their personal and social development and are specifically planned to postively impact in their progression route.

The units within the qualification are focused around:

  • Effective communication
  • Preparation for work
  • Using ICT to find information
  • Emotional wellbeing and healthy living
  • Literacy and mathematics

There will be a focus on preparing for progression. Some students may carry out a work placement experience.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements on foundation learning courses.

Progression

Students who need additional learning at Entry 3 may progress on to our Moving On – Transition Step Up Programme, or continue onto the Entry 3 Diploma.
