Course OverviewIf you have a general interest in science and want to study a practical course which covers biology, physics and chemistry then this course if for you. The course has three pathways - Applied Science, Biomedical Science, and Analytical and Forensic Science. All three pathways are designed to give you a broad understanding of the many aspects of science. The Foundation Diploma is equivalent to two A Levels.
Course ContentModules include: Principles and applications of science, Practical scietific procedures and techniques, Science investigation skills, Laboratory techniques and their application
Five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (including maths and science, and at least a D/3 in English language), or a relevant Level 2 diploma at merit level.
Upon successful completion of this course, you can choose to progress on to the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science or enter employment.
