Course Overview
If you're new to Beauty Therapy then this course consists of 14 exciting units to introduce you to this rewarding industry and acts as a perfect stepping stone to progress onto a Level 2 programme. Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT) is a specialist awarding organisation (AO). It is currently the market leading AO for the Hair and Beauty sectors.Course Content
Key modules on this course include: Skin Care and Facials, Basic make-up, Nail Art application, Themed Face Painting, Create a hair and beauty image based on a theme.
Entry Requirements
Three GCSEs at grade F/1 or above.
Assessment Methods
- Unitised theory exams
- assignments and summative practical assessments.
Progression
Upon successful completion of your course you will be able to progress onto Level 2 related programmes.
