Course Overview

An introductory course to the hospitality industry for those looking to learn the basic skills required for working with food and drink. If you are considering a career in hospitality, this will give you practical experience and insight into the world of catering, hospitality and customer service. As part of this course you will be expected to do work experience in the college’s conservatory restaurant.

Entry Requirements

You will be interviewed and must demonstrate an interest in hospitality and catering. No formal qualifications are required.

If you successfully complete this course and develop the required skills, you coulds progress onto the Level 1 Certificate in Food Preparation and Cooking course to develop your skills further.
