Course Overview

This course is perfect if you want to find out more about the link between people’s behaviour and their environment and enjoy carrying out investigations to look for patterns in behaviour. You’ll carry out research, discuss and debate big issues and discover the work of great pioneers in the field.

Course Content

During this course you will study a number of different modules including: Cognitive Psychology (all about our memories) Developmental Psychology (experiences that have attached to us and affect behaviour) Social Psychology (how we conform and obey) Biological Factors (including stress) Individual Differences (what is different about us?). Alongside this you'll also learn about Research Methods to help you understand how psychologists do their work.

Entry Requirements

Five GCSE subjects at grade C/4 or above (including English and maths, and a grade B/6 in science).
