There’s so much more to college life than just studying. We want your time here to be fun and one that you’ll remember. At college you’ll have the chance to be independent, meet new people and get involved with lots of fun activities. You’ll have the opportunity to join social and activity groups, sports teams, go on trips and so much more with our Xtra team and Students’ Union.
The Wellbeing Hub is a quiet, relaxing and safe place where you can find out more about the support available to you while you are at college. You can access additional learning support, safeguarding advice and guidance, early help support and counselling. Based in the ground floor of South Block, if you need a quiet space to reflect and relax, this is the space for you.
If you’re a current student, our Wellbeing and support teams have developed a suite of resources to support you on your learner journey too, take a look at the Wellbeing Hub Online Virtual Learning Environment for further information HERE.
The Xtra ENERGY Team run our Healthy Lifestyle Project within college. Through various methods of engagement they offer a wide range of activities and exercise sessions that help improve both your physical and mental health – from inflatable fun and table tennis in the Heart Space to exercise classes, sports and outdoor activities such as climbing and canoeing, the team make being active at college interesting and fun.
If you are a current student and would like to know more, call in to see the team in the Heart Space at our Infirmary Road site, or visit their dedicated Virtual Learning Environment HERE.
