HEATS – Entry Recordings
- All applicants will be invited to record 1 original song at Infirmary Records.
- Backline amplification, keyboard and drum kit will all be provided.
- Bands must bring their own guitars; drummers are welcome to bring their own cymbals and snare but only if this is essential to the song/sound.
- You will be given a 30 minute slot to come in and complete a live recording of your original song. All microphones and the studio will be present to accommodate the needs of your group. Please be specific in your application as to what is needed for your HEAT recording.
- You will be expected to arrive and be ready 15 minutes prior to your session.
- Your recording will be mixed at a later date by the studio engineers, at which time a copy of the mix will be sent to you for your own use.
- All mixes will then be submitted to Judges on the week commencing the 25th April.

Battle of the Bands Final

Terms and Conditions
All contestants must be aged between 16 –25 years old.
Contestants are expected to perform original material with a maximum of 1 cover song per set. Set length will be determined depending on the number of successful applications.
All applicants will enter the HEATS, see below for details. This will be decided by a panel of independent judges from college and the local music industry.
Those that are successful in the heats will progress to live semi-finals, again those successful by judge panel and audience vote will progress to the final.
In the event of error, tie or other such event, we reserve the right that the judge’s decision will be final.
