I’d like to take the opportunity to congratulate and thank you all for your hard work and successes this year. It has been a privilege to see the work that has been created by such a talented group of students who have coped extremely well these last few months under challenging circumstances. I appreciate that it has not always been easy to stay motivated to continue your creative studies due to awarding body decisions; however, it is a credit to your dedication and passion for your subject that has resulted in some well executed final pieces.
Additionally, I feel it is important that we recognise the great work and support that the teachers have given during the lockdown period and I’m sure you’d agree with me that they deserve our gratitude. It is now at this stage that you have completed everything towards your qualification. You will all receive your certificate and grades on August 13th 2020. Grades cannot be given out before this date due to moderation from the awarding bodies.
Lastly I would like to thank all of you who have sent work over to your tutors for the virtual end of year Exhibition. It’s a great way to celebrate your hard work and achievement. There are six rooms below to choose from, all showcasing your fantastic pieces of work.
I have every confidence that you will all go on to have great success in the next stage of your progression and I wish all well for a bright future.
