The Chesterfield College Students’ Union is your opportunity to get your opinions heard by the College Management Team. Our learner representatives are elected annually by the learners to form the Executive Committee, which is responsible for day-to-day running of the Students’ Union.

The Students’ Union organises a range of social, leisure and recreational activities throughout the year, and all learners are welcome to participate in these activities.

Chesterfield College Students’ Union is affiliated to the NUS (National Union of Students). All learners are automatically members of the Students’ Union. Learners can also apply for the NUS Extra Card which entitles them to access a wide range of discounts locally, nationally and online (on average 10%) and costs only £11.00. These are available from the Students' Union Admin Office or can be purchased online.

However, learners may without prejudice, choose to opt out of the Students’ Union if they wish.
