National Apprenticeship Week set to benefit Ashgate Hospice
During this year’s National Apprenticeship Week (6-10 Feb) we’ve geared all of our activities toward raising money for Ashgate Hospice whilst raising the profile of Apprenticeships.
The activities begin the week before NAW with both staff and Apprentices taking part in a fun run on Friday 3rd Feb in and around Chesterfield with charity buckets collecting cash for the hospice.
On Monday 6th February, we’re holding a beauty school event at Ashgate Hospice from 9.30am-6pm in which Beauty Therapy Apprentices will be offering heavily discounted treatments to the public such as full body massages and manicures, all proceeds of course going to Ashgate Hospice itself. To book your place just call Helena on 07825691404.

Fitness Apprentices will be challenging gym members from across Chesterfield to bike and rowing competitions throughout the week including gyms such as Brampton Manor and Ringwood Hall, again, raising as much money as possible for the Hospice.
To close our week of NAW activities, on Thursday 9th February we’re hosting a large event at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel in Norton from 1pm. Catering Apprentices will provide culinary delights for sale and a huge raffle will also boost the Hospice’s fundraising. The event finishes with a talk from Claire Young, runner-up in the 2008 series of The Apprentice and finally the big final cheque presentation to Ashgate Hospice.
