You can save up to £400 in travel costs with our FREE College Bus Service

As the government has decided to halt the popular Education Maintenance Allowance we recognise that to a large number of students, these payments were vital in their attending Further Education. In response we’ve replaced EMA with a £1 million support package available to eligible students aged 16-19 to help with the costs of attending College.

In response to the Government ceasing the EMA scheme, the College has set up a Bursary to provide financial support for eligible learners during their studies. If you are a full-time learner aged between 16 and 18, and your household income is less than £24,000, you may be able to claim up to £1,200 (subject to terms and conditions). Talk to our Learner Services team for more details on 01246 500535.

We can also offer you a contribution during your time at College towards paying for course-related equipment and resources such as uniforms and books*.
