Support 4U...

Support 4U is a safety net for young people who have left education or training. We offer a flexible and personalised service, intervening effectively and promptly to help remove barriers to access opportunity.



Working in partnership with Connexions and other partners, the service will identify 16-18 year olds in the area who have prematurely left education or training, and act as a central point-of-contact, offering information and guidance to help make a real difference.

Funded by the Learning and Skills Council, Support 4U can help young people to find out more, engage with and sustain education, employment and training options.

Your Support 4U Adviser based at Chesterfield Campus said, “It is my job to help young people have access to opportunities which will re-engage them and provide appropriate skills and recognition of achievement. I will work hard to help secure the right training provision for each young person and will endeavour to increase the pool of local employers willing to take on young people.”
