Acclaimed Rock Photographer, Tony Mott, returns to College roots

Internationally renowned Rock Photographer, Tony Mott, has returned to his roots at Chesterfield College to give a talk about his work and life on the road with rock legends including The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and Fleetwood Mac.

Having studied catering at Chesterfield College in the mid-70’s, Tony decided to set off for Australia, where he carved a name for himself in the world of Rock Photography. Tony now has three Rolling Stones tours under his belt and has photographed other top names such as Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond and Avril Lavigne. His work has appeared in over 20 countries, on the cover of over 450 CD’s and more than 700 magazines.


Tony delivered a talk to Chesterfield College students on how he got into the industry, presenting many of his internationally renowned rock star imagery. Tony says, “It was great to come back to my roots and hopefully inspire a new generation of students. It was a superb turn out and I was really impressed by the students’ enthusiasm.”
