A vacancy has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic Business Advisor to work out of a new logistic facility, to be opened at Markham Vale (M1 J29A). The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing business opportunities and achieving sales targets in the educational sector, ideally with a logistic focus. CENTRE MANAGER

Salary £40,704 per annum plus PRP up to 10%
An experienced training centre manager is required for a new logistic centre at Markham Vale (M1 J29A). The successful candidate will ideally have a logistic background and will take responsibility for all aspects of the smooth running of the Centre including developing courses, sourcing teaching personnel, ensuring compliance with audit and supporting the Business Development function. You will have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification and experience of using Labour Market Intelligence data to research target markets. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 8 September 2010

LECTURER IN HOSPITALITY AND CATERING
Salary: Up to £34,080 per annumTo teach on a range of programmes including NVQ’s in Hospitality & Catering levels 1,2,3 Entry level Hospitality Catering, 14 - 19 Diplomas in Hospitality, BTEC First and National Diploma in Hospitality. Integration of ICT would be an essential role of the postholder. Experience of working with learners on catering competitions would be desirable. Relevant industrial experience and a suitable qualification are essential. An ability to teach other catering subjects and possession of Learning and Development Awards A and/or V1 are required. An ability to offer Key Skills or Functional Skills would be an advantage.

To teach on a range of Construction Technician programmes including National Certificate Construction/Civil Engineering, HNC Construction and Foundation Degree. Applicants must hold a minimum of a Higher National Certificate in Construction or related area and have significant recent industrial experience. The ability to teach across both construction and civil engineering disciplines and the possession of a teacher training qualification would be desirable. An ability to offer Functional English and/or Functional Maths would be an advantage.
